Artist Statement

As an author recounts his life in words, the artist

narrates a highly intuitive autobiographic journal of images.

Memories, photographs and dreams are called upon

to reinvent life into art. Subtle line, markings, and collage-like

elements are presented with a fundamental respect for

primitive vision. This naivete becomes charged with vivid,

painterly strokes and comes together to form its

poetic and playful vision.
